Weekly Results Posted for 3/27/12

The La Mirada Disc Golf Club held their weekly disc golf tournament on Tuesday, March 27th at 5pm.

We had a good turnout this week with 31 players in four (4) divisions, Open (2), Advanced (8), Intermediate (3) and Novice (17).

In the Open Division it was Skip Marbach who took 1st away from Jose Alacala by 1 stroke with a 55 for $25.

In the Advanced division it was a three (3) way tie between Andre Sarinana, Dale Chambless and Matt Hutchings with a score of 55 (-1) for $21 each.

In the Intermediate division it was a tie between Nicholas Bermudez and Tommy Dodd with a score of 60 (+4) for $11 each.

In the Novice division it was Joseph Keliiholokai who took 1st place with a score of 60.  We held a Raffle for the Novice division and the winner received a used disc. We also gave a farewell Southern California Disc Golf Tee Shirt to our long time regular Dave Bardy. Farewell Dave! Dave is moving back east to take care of his family for awhile. We hope to see him return in the near future.  We also want to welcome our only Women player this week, McKayla Thomas. She did very well with a score of 68.  McKayal bagged a new mini and Innova Sticker.

Thanks everyone for showing up this week. No one hit the ACE pool so it will carry over to the monthyl on Saturday, March 31 at 10am.  Please be checked in and ready to play NO LATER THAN 9:45AM.

NOTE: THERE WILL BE NO NOVICE DIVISION ON SATURDAY!  IF YOU WANT TO PLAY YOU MUST PLAY IN ONE OF THE OTHER DIVISIONS.

WE WILL BE PLAYING ONE ROUND OF 27 HOLES!
